After a big day exploring the Yaquina Head and Cape Perpetua area, we backtracked a short distance to Yachats (pronounced YAH-hots) for the night.
After a short rest in our room, with the golden hour approaching, we went down to the beach. It was only a few minute walk from our room down to an interesting rocky shoreline. There was virtually no cloud cover to create atmosphere or catch the setting sun colors but it did cast a warm glow and was indeed a beautiful scene.
We stayed until the sun had dipped below the horizon and I photographed into the blue hour. What a treat to have this right outside our door at the hotel…
Fantastic!
